They are Anna and Marcus, a team both in life and work in their passion to pursue a more sustainable world. They both met studying plastic pollution in the Pacific Gyre - in fact they got engaged in the "great Pacific garbage patch". Through working with the Algalita Marine Research Foundation, they've had a chance to study what happens to our plastic trash in the ocean - damaging marine ecosystems and wildlife, and now entering the food chain, showing up in the stomachs of fish we harvest! Learn about some of the unusual ways they're working to raise awareness, and join their efforts around the world. The future is not gloom if we go for it!
